## Synopsis

Freezing (2011-2013) is a Japanese seinen anime series created for AT-X, produced by ACGT, with two seasons and twenty-four episodes. Eager to follow his fallen sister, a young student named Kazuya Aoi (voiced by Mitsuhiro Ichiki) enrolls at West Genetics Academy, a training school for genetically enhanced schoolgirls called Pandoras who battle alien invaders. As a Limiter, Kazuya is assigned as the battle partner of the most feared student, Satellizer el Bridget (voiced by Mamiko Noto), whose formidable power comes with a dangerous bloodlust. Alongside Ingrid Bernstein (Ami Koshimizu), Tichie Fenille (Aya Uchida), Ganessa Roland (Eri Kitamura) and Yumi Kim (Akeno Watanabe), he navigates training, rivalries and combat missions. The engine of the show is Kazuya's wish to rise through the ranks while earning trust from a partner whose temperament is volatile. Each episode mixes academy comedy, flirtatious tension and sudden alien action set in a near-future Japanese city. Its tone is playful and cheeky, with bursts of fanservice and visceral fights. Fans of Highschool of the Dead, Symphogear and Tokyo Ghoul will find a similar blend of sensual spectacle and battle-school energy.
