## Synopsis

Level E (2011) is a Japanese anime comedy series created for TV Tokyo, produced by David Production and Pierrot, and it runs for a single season of thirteen episodes. Baka, the prince of the planet Dogra, crash lands on Earth and loses his memory, then forcibly moves into the apartment of Yukitaka Tsutsui (Yoshimasa Hosoya), a first year high school student who had only just struck out on his own. Voiced by Daisuke Namikawa, the prince becomes the engine of chaos as he torments his unwilling host, while Yukitaka struggles to keep his ordinary school life from being swallowed whole. Earth is crowded with aliens from across the galaxy, yet the secret is kept from every human, and that open absurdity drives episodes built on slapstick mishaps, escalating pranks and scheming against the everyday. Satomi Akesaka, Takehito Koyasu, Masaya Takatsuka and Takumi Asahina round out the cast. The tone is irreverent and black humored, with a cheerful cruelty at its core. Fans of ALF, Invader Zim and Gintama will find resonance in its alien mischief and deadpan parody.
