## Synopsis

Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu (2012-2022) is an American animated fantasy series created by Michael Hegner and Tommy Andreasen for Cartoon Network, produced with The LEGO Group and WildBrain Studios. The show follows a team of six young ninja, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Lloyd and Nya, who must protect their world of Ninjago whenever great threats emerge. Each season builds a sixteen-season run of cheerful, action-packed adventure, with the heroes training in spinjitzu and channeling elemental powers in battles against villains and monsters while teamwork and friendship carry the story. Its tone is playful and bright, with light comedy running alongside the martial arts spectacle, and the 3D animation gives the brick-built world a toy-like sheen. The series sits in the company of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for fans of elemental action and young hero ensembles. Episodes run about twenty-two minutes and suit younger viewers and families looking for an energetic, lighthearted fantasy adventure.
