## Synopsis

Lab Rats (2012-2016) is an American family sci-fi sitcom created by Bryan Moore, Greg A. Hampson, Tim Weber, Ron Rappaport, Laura Lynn and Chris Peterson for Disney XD. Set in a contemporary suburban household, it follows ordinary teenager Leo Dooley (Tyrel Jackson Williams), who moves into a high-tech smart house with his mother and inventor stepfather Donald Davenport (Hal Sparks), a home run by a computer named Eddy. Leo's ordinary life tilts when he discovers a secret underground lab holding three bionic teenagers: the strong Adam (Spencer Boldman), the fast Bree (Kelli Berglund) and the brainy Chase (William Brent). The trio convinces Leo and his parents to let them attend school alongside him, where they try to fit in while their unpredictable abilities threaten to expose them. The engine of each episode is simple: a power glitch, a school social problem, or a scheme that Leo must keep hidden from the adults around him. The show runs four seasons and ninety-six episodes as a light, breezy, gently comic family comedy with a warm tone about friendship and self-confidence. Its tone and structure will appeal to fans of Sonny with a Chance and Phineas and Ferb, and to anyone seeking a lighthearted kids' show with a playful science fiction twist.
