## Synopsis

Sister, Sister (1994-1999) is a United States family sitcom created by Gary Gilbert, Kim Bass and Fred Shafferman for ABC and The WB. Tia Mowry plays Tia Landry and Tamera Mowry-Housley plays Tamera Campbell, twins who were separated and adopted at birth and meet by chance at a suburban mall. After their families meet, Tia's widowed father, played by Tim Reid as Ray Campbell's counterpart and joined by Jackée Harry as Lisa Landry, agrees to let Tamera and her single mother move in, and the household becomes the engine of the show. Each episode is a self-contained case of the week, built from everyday teenage friction, school crushes, parental rules and the clash of two different personalities sharing one home. The series ran six seasons and 119 episodes in a 23-minute format, a light, breezy comedy with a warm, comforting family core. Its look and rhythm are classic late-1990s multi-camera sitcom, and it is a natural pick for fans of Family Matters, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Moesha, who want a bright, affectionate household comedy about siblings and found family.
