## Synopsis

Hustle (2004-2012) is a British caper series created by Tony Jordan for BBC One. Adrian Lester plays Michael Stone, the charismatic leader of a motley London crew of grifters who take on elaborate stings against wealthy and corrupt targets. Robert Glenister as Ashley Morgan and Robert Vaughn as Albert Stroller round out the principal team, with Marc Warren and Jaime Murray joining in later years. The engine of each episode is a single con: the crew builds a fake identity, a rigged scenario and an inside man, then watches the plan unravel and rebuild in real time. Over eight seasons of six episodes each, the series stays a serialized but largely episodic caper, with the team's working bond and shifting roster giving the stings emotional weight. Its tone is breezy and witty, with the characters breaking the fourth wall to address viewers directly and sharing the joke at the mark's expense. Set in contemporary London, it moves through upscale hotels, auction houses and boardrooms, and fans of Leverage, White Collar and Oceans Eleven will find the same pleasure in clever misdirection and crew camaraderie.
