## Synopsis

Para Volver a Amar (2010-2011) is a Mexican telenovela created by Pedro Miguel Rozo and Adriana Suárez for Las Estrellas. Adapted from the Colombian soap El Último Matrimonio Feliz, it follows Antonia Palacios (Rebecca Jones), one of six women who befriend one another and lean on each other through the pains of marriage and romance. Alongside her, Braulio Longoria (Alejandro Camacho), Patricio González (René Strickler), Bárbara Mantilla (Alejandra Barros) and Valeria Andrade (Nailea Norvind) carry storylines of betrayal, rivalry, reconciliation and new love. Each episode is built from tangled relationships, family pressures and quarrels that threaten to pull the friends apart, while the central engine is the stubborn hope that happiness can still be reached after heartbreak. The series runs as one continuing story across a single season of 146 episodes, the classic long-form format of Latin American television. Its tone is melodramatic and warm, with heightened emotion, romantic reversals and a sincere faith in second chances. Set in contemporary Mexico, it is a soap opera with a female-centered heart. Fans of Rubí, Mujeres asesinas and Desperate Housewives will find resonance in its blend of romance, friendship and soapy twists.
