## Synopsis

City Hunter (2011) is a South Korean television miniseries created for SBS, a single-season k-drama action crime series of twenty hour-long episodes. Lee Min-ho plays Lee Yun Seong, a talented MIT-educated communications specialist on the international team at Seoul's Blue House who quietly leads a double life. Park Min-young plays Kim Na Na, a sharp and spirited presence who draws him into the lives of ordinary people in trouble. Lee Jun-hyuk, Kim Sang-joong and Cheon Ho-jin fill out the principal cast around the political machinery he is determined to expose. Each episode puts the hero in a fresh situation: a client who needs help, a case big or small, and a hidden web of corrupt officials he must unravel before his cover is blown. The engine is a tension between his polished public life and the vigilante work he cannot share, and the story moves through a mix of case-driven chases, stealthy investigations and light romantic banter. Set in present-day Seoul, the series balances glossy action with comic warmth and a sense of civic outrage. Its tone is brisk, playful and sincere, with an underdog hopefulness that suits viewers who enjoy the mood of Iris and the masked-avenger appeal of Arrow.
