## Synopsis

Revenge (2011-2015) is an American prime time serialized drama created by Mike Kelley for ABC. Emily VanCamp plays Emily Thorne, a woman who moves to the wealthy Hamptons under a new identity to exact revenge on the Graysons, the family that framed and destroyed her father. Madeleine Stowe plays Victoria Grayson, the family matriarch whose polished social world Emily slowly infiltrates, while Joshua Bowman plays Daniel Grayson and Nick Wechsler plays Jack Porter, both tangled in her scheme. Across four seasons and eighty-nine episodes, the engine is a long game: Emily cultivates allies, plants manipulations, and maneuvers each target toward a reckoning, while every week brings new reversals and romantic betrayals. The show plays as a glossy, soap-inflected thriller set among Hamptons mansions, yachts and charity galas, with a tone that mixes cold calculation, sudden violence and high society melodrama. Fans of The Count of Monte Cristo, Dynasty and The Americans will find resonance in its patient vengeance and layered deceit.
