## Synopsis

The Finder (2012) is an American crime drama series created by Hart Hanson for FOX. Geoff Stults plays Walter Sherman, an Iraq War veteran whose extraordinary ability lets him help people find the unfindable. Michael Clarke Duncan plays Leo Knox, and Maddie Hasson plays Willa Monday, both drawn into his cases. Mercedes Mason plays Isabel Zambada. Walter's engine is the search itself: each case pulls him into a missing-person trail that tests his military past and his own fragile sense of purpose. Episodes build around a single disappearance at a time while threads about Walter's history and the people around him accumulate across the run. The series runs for one thirteen-episode season, set in present-day Florida, where sun-bleached streets and humid, unsettling corners frame each hunt. Its tone blends brooding and hopeful, with emotional weight given to grief, loyalty, and the cost of carrying trauma. Viewers who enjoy Medium, Bones, and The Mentalist will find a similar mix of procedural structure and a damaged, gifted investigator at the center.
