## Synopsis

C The Money of Soul and Possibility Control (2011) is a Japanese anime series created for Fuji TV, produced by Tatsunoko Production and presented as a single-season run of eleven episodes. Kimimaro Yoga (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) works two jobs to make ends meet until he is drawn into a parallel world called the Financial District, where a fortune can be won by wagering one's future as collateral. Kimimaro faces the powerful player Souichirou Mikuni (voiced by Daisuke Hosomi), while Hanabi Ikuta (voiced by Yui Makino) and Mashu (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu) are among the other principal figures drawn into the game. Each episode turns on a new high-stakes contest in which the rules of money and possibility decide who survives. The series weaves a conspiracy about a secret organization with a dystopian vision of a world where greed can erase a person from existence. Its tone is tense, cerebral and frequently paranoid, with a restless, neon-tinged cyberpunk atmosphere. Fans of Kaiji, Psycho-Pass and Death Note will find resonance in its gambling stakes, moral unease and shadowy power struggles.
