## Synopsis

Touch (2012-2013) is a American network science fiction drama series created by Tim Kring for FOX. Kiefer Sutherland stars as Martin Bohm, a widowed single father struggling to reach his mute, autistic eleven-year-old son Jake, played by David Mazouz. Martin's engine is a hunt for connection: when Jake reveals an uncanny ability to see the patterns linking seemingly unrelated people, Martin begins following those clues across cities, chasing strangers whose fates intersect in unexpected ways. Clea Hopkins (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and Professor Arthur Teller (Danny Glover) help shape the investigation, while Lukas Haas plays Calvin Norburg, a figure whose path crosses the family's. The series spans two seasons of thirteen episodes each, and every episode is built around a case-of-the-week that folds into a larger mystery of destiny and coincidence. Tone blends a quiet domestic drama with a sense of wonder, emotionally tender and hopeful, with an undercurrent of unease. Fans of Fringe, Heroes and Lost will find resonance in its serialized puzzle and its blend of ordinary life with the uncanny. Set in present-day United States cities, the show lingers on everyday lives changed by unseen forces, and its focus on a father and son makes the mystery feel deeply personal.
