## Synopsis

Tiger & Bunny (2011-2022) is a Japanese superhero anime series created for MBS and Netflix, produced by Sunrise. Set in an alternate New York City protected by NEXT, a band of powered heroes whose exploits are broadcast and sponsored like a sports league, the series follows veteran hero Wild Tiger, voiced by Hiroaki Hirata, who is forced to team up with rookie Barnaby Brooks Jr., voiced by Masakazu Morita. Their mismatched partnership drives the story as they chase criminals, face corporate pressures, and compete for ratings and public approval. Each episode mixes case-of-the-week action with a growing bromance and a larger mystery about the hero world. The show spans two seasons and fifty episodes, blending the energy of a shonen anime with bright comedy and flashy power-suit set pieces. Its tone is playful and sincere, with moments of emotional weight. Fans of My Hero Academia and The Boys will find resonance in its superhero ensemble and its satire of celebrity heroism. The series carries a TV-14 rating and a warm, fast-paced rhythm throughout.
