## Synopsis

Happy Days (1974-1984) is a United States network sitcom created by Garry Marshall for ABC, running eleven seasons and roughly 250 episodes. Set in 1950s Milwaukee, it follows the Cunningham family, anchored by teenager Richie Cunningham (Ron Howard) and his parents Howard (Tom Bosley) and Marion (Marion Ross), as they navigate school, dating and friendship. The show's engine is the steady pull of Arthur Fonzarelli (Henry Winkler), the leather-jacketed motorcycle rider whose easy charisma draws Richie and his pals Potsie (Anson Williams) and Ralph Malph (Don Most) into a circle of loyalty and mischief. Each week is a self-contained half-hour built from small domestic crises, teenage schemes, diner hangouts and the gentle lessons of a close-knit household. The multi-camera format keeps the mood breezy, cozy and sincerely nostalgic, a warm look back at an idealized postwar adolescence. Fans of The Wonder Years, Leave It to Beaver and American Graffiti will find resonance in its wistful, wholesome comedy and its affection for small-city American youth.
