## Synopsis

Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (2011-2016) is an American animated action comedy series created for Nickelodeon, produced alongside DreamWorks Animation. Po the Panda (voiced by Mick Wingert) is the clumsy but earnest hero who now lives permanently at the Jade Palace with the Furious Five, including Tigress (Kari Wahlgren), Monkey (James Sie), Crane (Amir Talai) and Mantis (Max Koch). Under the watchful eye of Master Shifu (Fred Tatasciore), Po trains, battles villains, teaches younger students, and gets into comic trouble in the Valley of Peace. The engine of each episode is simple: a small challenge arises, Po is eager but unprepared, and the group must work together to set things right. Across three seasons and roughly eighty half-hour episodes, the show runs as a family-friendly serialized adventure with episodic stakes, blending slapstick, kung fu action and affectionate geek humor drawn from martial arts lore. Its tone is cheerful, warm and breezy, with a theme of earning one's place among heroes. Set in a stylized, mythic China, the series will appeal to viewers who enjoy Kung Fu Panda, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Teen Titans Go!, all of which combine kid-friendly comedy with martial arts spirit.
