## Synopsis

Amorcito Corazón (2011-2012) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa and created by Valentina Párraga, broadcast in the United States on Univision and Las Estrellas. Elizabeth Álvarez plays Isabel Cordero Valencia de Lobo, a woman whose marriage to Fernando Lobo Carvajal (Diego Olivera) is tangled in rivalry, betrayal and family pressure, while Mariana Karr plays the commanding Beatificación Beba Vda. de Solís and Fabiola Campomanes plays the scheming Manuela Ballesteros Tres Palacios. The engine of the show is the push and pull of romance against the interference of rivals, in-laws and villains who scheme to break couples apart. Each episode advances a web of secrets, confrontations and reconciliations within wealthy Mexican families. The series runs as a single long season of 206 episodes, a long-form serialized melodrama built for daily viewing. Set in contemporary Mexico, it leans on heightened emotion, sumptuous domestic drama and sharp villainy. Its tone is melodramatic, sentimental and passionate, carrying the familiar rhythms of Latin American soap opera. Fans of Destilando amor, La usurpadora and Betty la fea will find the same mix of romantic rivalry and family intrigue.
