## Synopsis

In Time with You (2011) is a Taiwanese romantic comedy series created for Formosa TV and iQiyi, a single-season run of thirteen episodes. Ariel Lin plays Cheng You-qing, a sharp-tongued shoe executive who makes a wager with her longtime best friend Li Da-ren, played by Chen Bolin, to see who can marry first before turning 35. Sunny Wang, Andrea Chen, and Jasper Liu fill out the romantic web around them. The engine of the series is the bet itself: each episode pushes the friends through dates, workplace pressures, family expectations and the small misunderstandings that keep them from admitting their feelings. Its shape is a self-contained, continuing story of one complete season rather than a case of the week. Set in contemporary Taiwan, among Taipei office life and family dinners, the show carries a light, warm, breezy mood with a wistful undercurrent about timing and the people closest to us. Its tone is comforting and playful, with the sparkle of a classic romcom. Fans of When Harry Met Sally and Crazy Rich Asians will find resonance in its blend of banter and slow-building affection, and viewers of Meteor Garden will recognize the Taiwanese idol-era romance energy.
