## Synopsis

The 10th Kingdom (2000) is a American fantasy miniseries created by Simon Moore for NBC. Across five feature-length episodes of roughly two hours each, Virginia Lewis (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) and her father Tony Lewis (John Larroquette), living in present-day Manhattan, are dragged into a parallel universe where fairy tale realms have fallen into disorder. Their journey is driven by a simple want, getting home, while every step forward means confronting trolls, giants and goblins who have splintered the kingdoms. Along the way they encounter Snow White, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood, each struggling to keep their own territory from collapsing. Scott Cohen plays the wolf Wolf, Dianne Wiest plays the Evil Queen, and Daniel Lapaine plays Prince Wendell, adding menace and romance to the adventure. The tone is whimsical and warm, with comic fish-out-of-water moments and a steady family heart. Each episode is a stretch of quest and encounter that builds toward a single story arc. Fans of Once Upon a Time, Stardust and Shrek will find resonance in its playful reimagining of classic fairy tales as a gentle, family-friendly fantasy.
