## Synopsis

Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego? (1994-1999) is an American animated children's mystery series created by Phil Harnage for FOX and Fox Kids. Master thief Carmen Sandiego (voiced by Rita Moreno) pulls off near-impossible thefts, from the roof of the Taj Mahal to the space shuttle and Paul Revere's horseshoe, leaving cryptic clues behind her. Teen detectives Zack (Scott Menville) and Ivy (Jennifer Hale), occasionally feuding siblings, trail her across the globe, decoding riddles and chasing leads from one famous landmark to the next. Across four seasons and forty episodes, the format stays a light case-of-the-week caper built around travel, geography, and wordplay. The tone is playful and brisk, with bickering banter and quick comic beats keeping the chase upbeat for younger viewers. Its bright, colorful animation and whimsical villainy give it the feel of a classic 1990s kids adventure. Fans of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, Gargoyles, and Lupin the Third will find a similar blend of mystery, humor, and clever theft.
