## Synopsis

Legion of Super Heroes (2006-2008) is an American animated science fiction superhero series created for The CW. It follows a young Superman, known as Kell-El and voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, as he fights alongside a team of futuristic heroes in the 31st century. Saturn Girl, voiced by Kari Wahlgren, and the brainy Brainiac 5, voiced by Adam Wylie, anchor the group, while Lightning Lad, Timber Wolf and Bouncing Boy round out the roster. Each episode builds around a fresh threat to the United Planets, whether a rogue villain, an alien invasion or a crisis of the hero team itself, with action sequences driving the stories forward. Across two seasons of thirteen episodes each, the series moves briskly through colorful space adventures in a bright, optimistic future. The tone stays light and earnest, aimed squarely at younger viewers, with friendship and loyalty at its center. Fans of Teen Titans, Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited will find the same blend of youthful heroism and accessible animated action. The show is a family-friendly, self-contained entry in the DC animated tradition.
