## Synopsis

Comic Book Men (2012-2018) is an American unscripted reality comedy created by Kevin Smith for AMC. Set inside Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, Smith's real comic book shop, the show follows Kevin Smith, Walt Flanagan, Ming Chen, Mike Zapcic and Bryan Johnson as they run the store and riff endlessly on the minutiae of fan culture. Its engine is simple: customers walk in with collectibles, a rare back issue or a half-formed theory, and the crew argues over their value, accuracy and place in comic history until the banter takes over. Across seven seasons and 96 episodes of roughly twenty-two minutes each, the format stays loose and conversational rather than plotted, with guest appearances from figures like Lou Ferrigno and George Perez adding weight to the debates. The tone is affectionate, sardonic and deeply sincere about geek passion, with a cozy shop-counter warmth. Fans of Pawn Stars, American Pickers and The Big Bang Theory will find a similar appetite for collector culture and friendly nerd camaraderie.
