## Synopsis

Valiant Love (Amor Bravío, 2012) is a Mexican telenovela romance produced by Televisa for Las Estrellas, created by Martha Carrillo, Cristina Garcia and María Zarattini. Camila Monterde (Silvia Navarro), a grieving veterinarian mourning her fiancé, recovers at her uncle Daniel Monterde's ranch, where she tends the many animals kept there. Daniel Díaz (Cristián de la Fuente), a bitter Chilean wrongly imprisoned after a vicious lie, arrives under a false identity with one goal: to destroy the Monterde family that he blames for his ruin. The engine of the story is his carefully planned vengeance colliding with his growing passion for Camila, so every episode turns on deception, secrets and the pull between hatred and desire. Supporting principals include Leticia Calderón as Isadora González and Flavio Medina as Alonso Lazcano González, whose rivalries and loyalties feed the family conflicts. Told across a single run of 166 episodes, this is a classic melodrama with an ensemble of feuding households, stolen inheritances and tearful reversals. Its tone is sentimental and intense, with romantic longing and wounded pride at the center. Fans of La Usurpadora, Rubí and Pasión de Gavilanes will find the same heightened emotion and devotion to a central love story.
