## Synopsis

Eerie, Indiana (1991-1993) is an American supernatural comedy series created by Jose Rivera and Karl Schaefer for NBC. Teenage weirdness investigator Marshall Teller (Omri Katz) moves with his family to a new small Indiana town, where he teams up with geeky, skeptical best friend Simon Holmes (Justin Shenkarow) to chase down the uncanny happenings everyone else ignores. Marilyn Teller (Mary-Margaret Humes) and Edgar Teller (Francis Guinan) anchor the household, while John Astin plays the eccentric Radford in a single season of nineteen standalone episodes. Each installment is a self-contained case of the week, built around urban legends, strange gadgets, and oddball residents who seem slightly off in every corner of town. The engine is simple: Marshall wants proof, the adults refuse to listen, and the town keeps producing new weirdness. The tone is playful and campy, with scenes that still feel genuinely spooky, and the show winks at the classic monster movies and cheap science fiction films that inspired it. Viewers who loved Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and Twin Peaks will find the same mix of kid friendly dread and offbeat small town charm, a twenty four minute ride that suits family viewing.
