## Synopsis

Hogan's Heroes (1965-1971) is an American network sitcom created by Bernard Fein and Albert S. Ruddy for CBS. Bob Crane plays Colonel Robert E. Hogan, a wisecracking American officer who runs a secret Special Operations group from a German prisoner of war camp, with Werner Klemperer as the pompous Colonel Wilhelm Klink and John Banner as the dim Sergeant Hans Schultz. The engine of the show is Hogan's weekly scheme to outwit his captors and smuggle intelligence out under their noses, while Robert Clary, Richard Dawson, Ivan Dixon and Larry Hovis round out the prisoner crew.
