## Synopsis

Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev (2011-2014) is an Indian scripted mythological drama series broadcast on Life OK, with the original title देवों के देव...महादेव. Mohit Raina plays Lord Shiva, the supreme being and destroyer of evil, alongside Sonarika Bhadoria as Goddess Parvati, Mouni Roy as Devi Sati, and Saurabh Raj Jain as Lord Vishnu. The engine of the show is the divine story itself: Shiva's avatars, the conflicts among gods, demons and sages, and the union that shaped the universe through his marriage to Parvati. Each episode unfolds as a devotional episode of sacred myth, with figures such as Lakshmi, Brahma, Daksh and Rama appearing across the sprawling storyline. The series runs thirty seasons and roughly eight hundred episodes, a continuing serial rather than a self-contained format. Set in an invented mythic cosmos rather than a dated historical era, it carries a reverent, emotional and devotional register, with grand divine spectacle and moral struggle between good and evil at its core. Viewers who enjoy Mahabharat and Siya Ke Ram will find similar devotional epic resonance.
