## Synopsis

Killer Kids (2011-2015) is a Canadian true crime documentary series produced by 44 Blue Productions and aired on Bio. and Canal D. Across four seasons and 52 episodes, each one-hour installment is a self-contained case study examining real murders committed by children and teenagers. Rather than chasing a single protagonist, the series is anchored by a recurring narrator and reenacted scenes that revisit each crime, weaving in interviews with investigators, lawyers and family members. The engine of every episode is the question of motive: what drives a young person to commit a hate crime, join a gang initiation, kill a relative, or take part in an occult ceremony. The tone is sober, probing and often unsettling, with a focus on the offenders' backgrounds and the systems that failed them. Its shape is a case-of-the-week format rather than one continuing story, so episodes stand alone and can be watched in any order. Fans of Making a Murderer, The Jinx and Mindhunter will find resonance in its investigative curiosity and its unflinching look at criminal psychology. The series offers a disturbing but clear-eyed portrait of violence committed by people who are still children.
