## Synopsis

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan (2005-2007) is a Japanese adult animated absurdist comedy series produced by Hal Film Maker and released by Geneon Entertainment, running two seasons and twelve short episodes of about thirteen minutes each. Dokuro Mitsukai is a temperamental angel dispatched into the past to stop Sakura Kusakabe, a man destined to build technology for eternal life, and she goes about it with a giant spiked club. Her mission is supposed to be a quiet attempt to change the future without bloodshed, but her moods keep turning every encounter into a gruesome killing. Each episode is built from escalating misunderstandings, rapid violent gags, and the revival of victims who are then killed again. The tone is deadpan, irreverent and breezy, with a cheerfully grotesque edge. Fans of Excel Saga, Ren & Stimpy and Happy Tree Friends will find resonance in its chaotic energy and cartoon brutality.
