## Synopsis

Guilty Crown (2011-2012) is a Japanese anime science fiction series produced by Production I.G and broadcast on Fuji TV. Its protagonist is high school student Shu Ouma, voiced by Yuki Kaji, who unexpectedly acquires the Power of the Kings, an ability to draw out objects called Voids from other people. Shu is pulled into the Funeral Parlor, a resistance group fighting to restore Japan's independence from the GHQ, a quasi-governmental organization. Yuichi Nakamura voices Gai Tsutsugami, and Kana Hanazawa voices Ayase Shinomiya, both tied to the resistance and to Shu's struggle.
