## Synopsis

30 Degrees in February (2012-2016) is a Swedish television drama series broadcast on SVT1 across two seasons and twenty hour-long episodes. It follows a group of Swedes who have left the snow and cold of Scandinavia behind for the sandy beaches of Thailand in the dead of winter, chasing a life-changing adventure and a fresh start. Glenn and Oh anchor the ensemble alongside Majlis, Kajsa, Joy and Johnny, whose hopes collide with the realities of living abroad. The engine of the show is the everyday friction of reinventing oneself in a foreign country, with cultural mismatch, shifting friendships and the pull of home shaping each episode. Its tone is warm and wistful, with a breezy, sunlit surface that carries an undercurrent of longing and uncertainty. Viewers who enjoy expatriate dramas and ensemble character studies set abroad will find resonance here, in the vein of soap-style interpersonal drama. The series stands as a compact, accessible drama that rewards viewers looking for gentle emotional storytelling and a change of scenery from the familiar.
