## Synopsis

Zoboomafoo (1999-2001) is an American-Canadian children's educational series created by Chris Kratt, Martin Kratt and Leo Eaton for TVOntario and PBS Kids. Brothers Chris Kratt and Martin Kratt host the show alongside Zoboomafoo, a talking Coquerel's Sifaka lemur voiced in performance by Gord Robertson, and Jackie (Samantha Tolkacz) and Amy (Genevieve Farrell) appear as recurring young companions. Each episode opens in Animal Junction, a whimsical gathering place where the rules of nature bend and wild animals arrive to visit and play. Rather than a dramatic plot, the engine of each installment is curiosity: the hosts pose a question about an animal's habits, traits or habitat, then the group explores it through hands-on encounters with rotating animal guests. The run spans two seasons totaling 65 episodes, presented as a light, playful, self-contained format that young viewers can enjoy in any order. The tone is warm, cheerful and gently silly, with brisk segments and a comforting, wonder-filled atmosphere. Fans of Wild Kratts, Sesame Street and The Crocodile Hunter will find resonance in its blend of animal education and friendly host-led fun.
