## Synopsis

PB&J Otter (1998-2000) is an American children's animated series created by Jim Jinkins for Disney Channel. Peanut, Jelly, and Baby Butter Otter live on a houseboat with their extended circle of friends and family, including Aunt Anna Otter, Opal Otter, and Connie Crane, voiced by Nancy Giles, Gwen Shepherd, and Jackie Hoffman. The engine of each episode is a small everyday problem that needs thinking through. Whenever the characters get stuck, they perform the Noodle Dance until one of them finally gets an idea, and that goofy ritual becomes the series' signature pause before the solution arrives. The show runs three seasons and 124 episodes of twenty-minute standalone stories, with a standing cast that gives the houseboat a warm, busy neighborhood feel. Its tone is gentle, playful, and cheerful, aimed at young children and their families. Viewers who enjoy the soft domestic warmth of Bluey, the friendly animal community of Arthur, or the musical problem solving of Blue's Clues will find a similar kind of comfort here. Each episode wraps up with a bright, reassuring resolution, making it an easy, low-stakes watch for preschool audiences.
