## Synopsis

Dotto! Koni-chan is a Japanese anime comedy series that aired on the ANIMAX network across 26 episodes from November 2000 to May 2001. Animated by the studio SHAFT and produced alongside Genco, it is a short, self-contained single season of lighthearted animated comedy built around broad slapstick gags, exaggerated reactions and playful absurdity. Its cast is credited with voice performer Konishiki, and its episodes follow a light, episodic rhythm rather than a continuing dramatic arc, so each installment delivers its own run of silly mishaps and visual jokes. The show carries a cheerful, whimsical register that suits younger viewers and nostalgic adults alike. Its tone is breezy and warm, with a focus on comedic energy over emotional weight. The series holds a notable following in Latin America, particularly in Mexico, Guatemala, Chile, Colombia and Argentina, where it became a cult favorite. Fans of Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan will find a similar appeal in its gag-driven, child-friendly humor and bright, episodic charm, making it an easy pick for a relaxed, lighthearted watch.
