## Synopsis

Team Antonsen (2004-2010) is a Norwegian sketch comedy series created by Atle Antonsen, Harald Eia, Bård Tufte Johansen and Kristopher Schau for the state broadcaster NRK1. Four well-known Norwegian comedians, Atle Antonsen (who appears in the most episodes), Harald Eia, Bård Tufte Johansen and Kristopher Schau, perform a rotating set of short sketches that work as a late-night comic revue. The engine of the show is simple: each sketch picks a voice or a place and puts it under a comic microscope, with the comedians playing exaggerated characters who embody the quirks of spoken nynorsk, sami, and the regional dialects of Northern Norway, Bergen and Trondheim. Episodes are self-contained, so viewers can dip in anywhere, and the show runs as a two-season anthology of sketches rather than a continuing story. Guests from the arts, including writer Anne Holt and singer Bertine Zetlitz, drop in for sketches that keep the mood playful, cheeky and affectionate rather than cruel. The tone is breezy, self-mocking and quick, with a national-television sensibility that makes its laughs feel distinctly Norwegian. Fans of Little Britain, The Fast Show and Monty Python's Flying Circus will find a similar appetite for dialect mimicry, recurring comic types and sharp observational satire.
