## Synopsis

Tom & Jerry Kids Show (1990-1993) is an American animated kids series created by Carl Urbano, Don Lusk and Paul Sommer for FOX and Fox Kids. Produced by Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, it follows the classic cat and mouse pair Tom and Jerry in their childhood days, when their rivalry already runs on mischief and wordless games of one-upmanship. Frank Welker voices Tom and Jerry, with Don Messick as Droopy, Charlie Adler as Dripple, Richard Gautier as Spike and Patric Zimmerman as Tyke rounding out a cast of familiar neighborhood figures. The engine of each episode is simple: a prank, a chase, and a comeuppance, packed into roughly seven minutes. Across four seasons and 195 episodes, the show stays episodic, so any short segment can be watched on its own. Its tone is gentle, playful and lighthearted, built on slapstick timing rather than real harm, which makes it a comfortable choice for young viewers. Set in a timeless suburban neighborhood, it is a saturday morning cartoon with a warm, breezy feel. Fans of Looney Tunes, Animaniacs and the original Tom and Jerry shorts will find familiar comic rhythms here.
