## Synopsis

Ghost (2012) is a South Korean crime thriller series created by Kim Eun-hee for SBS. Elite detective Kim Woo-hyun leads a murder investigation in which the prime suspect is a mysterious hacker, and the chase pulls him deeper into a web of police corruption and buried secrets. Alongside him, Yoo Kang-mi and Jo Hyun-min help piece together digital trails and street-level evidence, while the hacker's own identity keeps shifting as the case unfolds. The engine of the show is the cat-and-mouse between investigator and suspect, with each episode tightening the net around a conspiracy that reaches inside the force itself. Its single season is one continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format, built on procedural detail and personal mysteries. The tone is tense, moody and morally shadowed, with an emotional undercurrent about identity and guilt. Fans of Signal and Mindhunter will find resonance in its blend of forensic investigation and psychological pursuit, set in contemporary Seoul.
