## Synopsis

So, I Can't Play H! (2012) is a Japanese animated supernatural romantic comedy series created by Tachibana Pan and aired on AT-X. Teenager Ryousuke Kaga (voiced by Hiro Shimono) is a helplessly romantic boy who offers shelter to a beautiful red-eyed girl drenched in the rain, only to be stabbed in the chest and left for dead. His wary, uneasy bond with the mysterious girl Mina Okura (voiced by Kaori Ishihara) drives the series, as he tries to learn who she is and what she wants from him. The story unfolds over a single twelve-episode season of twenty-four minute episodes, mixing romantic misunderstanding, fanservice-heavy comedy, and hints of a hidden world of demons and supernatural powers. Supporting voices from Aya Endo, Arisa Nishiguchi, and Misato Fukuen fill out a cast of women drawn into Ryousuke's strange predicament. The tone is playful and bawdy, with the ecchi and harem traditions of Japanese anime in the foreground and a light, teasing mood throughout. Fans of High School DxD and Rosario + Vampire will find the same blend of fanservice, supernatural romance, and comic chaos. Set in a contemporary Japanese town, it is an adaptation of a light novel and a short, self-contained entry in the genre.
