## Synopsis

Millennium (1996-1999) is a Canadian-American dark crime series created by Chris Carter for FOX. Former FBI serial profiler Frank Black (Lance Henriksen) leaves the Bureau to join the Millennium Group, a secretive team of ex-law enforcement experts who believe a growing wave of evil is pushing the world toward an apocalyptic turning point. Frank's gift for perceiving the minds of killers comes at a personal cost, as his visions unsettle his home life with his wife Catherine Black (Megan Gallagher) and their daughter. Each episode pairs a grim investigation with the wider Millennium conspiracy, following gruesome crime scenes, cult-like movements and prophetic signs across Seattle and Washington, D.C. Fans of The X-Files, Hannibal and Twin Peaks will find resonance in its brooding, paranoid atmosphere, its blend of procedural and occult mystery, and its unsettling meditation on faith and dread across a three-season run. Emma Hollis (Klea Scott) and Peter Outerbridge's Barry Baldwin join the investigations as the series deepens into its mythology and shifts its tone over time.
