## Synopsis

Iron Man (2010) is a Japanese animated superhero series that aired on ANIMAX in a single twelve-episode season, based on the Marvel comic character. Tony Stark, the billionaire inventor voiced by Keiji Fujiwara, branches his company into Japan, where he is opposed by the nefarious Zodiac organization. Stark's armored alter ego Iron Man must defeat the Zodiac and defend the country, while Dr. Chika Tanaka, voiced by Takako Honda, and Pepper Potts, voiced by Hiroe Oka, support him from the business and personal side. The engine is a steady stream of battle suit confrontations, corporate tension and villains organized around astrological signs, with each episode building the threat in a contained, action-driven rhythm. The setting is contemporary Japan, with glossy high-technology cityscapes and corporate intrigue. Its tone is brisk, playful and earnest, with a bright action-anime energy that leans on suit design and spectacle. Fans of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Gurren Lagann will find resonance in its blend of marvel superhero action and anime style. It stands as a short, self-contained Marvel anime experience.
