## Synopsis

REBORN! (2006-2010) is a Japanese anime shonen series created for TV Tokyo and produced by Artland, running eight seasons across 203 episodes. Timid junior high student Tsuna Sawada (voiced by Yukari Kokubun) is a failure at school, sports, and friendship until Reborn (voiced by NEEKO), a self-proclaimed Italian hitman from the Vongola family, arrives to train him as the future boss of the mafia clan. The engine of the series is Tsuna's reluctant growth: he wants a normal life while Reborn pushes him through increasingly brutal training and rivalries with other families, and each episode mixes slapstick school-life gags with escalating combat. Friends Kyoya Hibari (Takashi Kondo) and Mukuro Rokudo (Toshinobu Iida) add rival-turned-ally tension. The run moves from light school comedy into long duel arcs, a shape of one continuing serialized story with episodic gags. Set in present-day Japan with Italian mafia imagery, the tone stays boisterous, comedic, and cheerful while the fights grow intense. Fans of Naruto, Gintama, and Ranma ½ will find resonance in its blend of absurd comedy and shonen battle.
