## Synopsis

Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine (2012) is a Japanese seinen anime crime caper series produced by TMS Entertainment and broadcast on Nippon TV. Fujiko Mine, the slinky, sultry thief voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, is the thread that holds the crew together, and the series follows her as she pursues the job that started it all. Arsène Lupin III (Kanichi Kurita) and the rest of the gang appear around her, while Inspector Koichi Zenigata (Koichi Yamadera) chases the thieves through the underworld. Each episode of this thirteen-episode run is built around a single night's score, shifting from one scheme to the next as Fujiko charms, deceives and kills to get what she wants. The series is a self-contained, one-season run with a continuing thread, so it rewards attention to who is double-crossing whom. Its tone is playful and glamorous, with sly humor and sensual flair layered over sharp violence and cynical motives. Fans of the classic Lupin the Third, Ocean's Eleven and Cowboy Bebop will find resonance in its stylish, morally slippery criminal world.
