## Synopsis

Good Luck Girl! (2012) is a Japanese animated supernatural comedy series created for MBS, TV Tokyo and AT-X, adapted from a manga and produced by Sunrise. Across a single season of thirteen 24-minute episodes, it follows Ichiko Sakura (voiced by Kana Hanazawa), a schoolgirl who unknowingly absorbs the happiness of everyone around her. To stop her endless positivity drain and restore the world's balance, the poverty god Momiji (voiced by Yumi Uchiyama) is dispatched to her side, and Keita Tsuwabuki (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) is drawn into the chaos. Each episode is built from escalating slapstick, bickering between human and deity, and bawdy fan service that lands in the territory of ecchi comedy. The mood is breezy, irreverent and cheerfully absurd, with a playful, shonen-flavored energy. Fans of Kamisama Kiss, Gintama and Ouran High School Host Club will find resonance in its mischievous divine companion, quick gag rhythm and school-life setting. The series plays its supernatural premise for laughs rather than deep drama, making it an easy, light watch.
