## Synopsis

Infinite Stratos (2011-2013) is a Japanese animated harem romcom series with mecha elements, produced by 8bit, TBS, Lantis, Media Factory and OVERLAP, and aired on television across Japan. Ichika Orimura (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) is an ordinary teenager who unexpectedly discovers he can pilot an IS, a powered armored suit that only women are supposed to operate. Forced to enroll at the IS Academy as the only male student among a crowd of girls from around the world, he struggles to keep up with training while navigating a cast of competing classmates. Principal voices include Houki Shinonono (Yoko Hikasa), Cecilia Alcott (Yukana), Lingyin Huang (Asami Shimoda) and Charlotte Dunois (Kana Hanazawa). Each episode blends classroom comedy, suit combat drills, and escalating romantic rivalry, with the central engine being a boy trying to survive a school environment built around him. The series runs across two seasons and twenty-four episodes, with a light, breezy and sometimes fanservice-heavy register. Its setting is a near-future academy environment, and it offers a brisk and playful alternative for fans of Date A Live, Rosario + Vampire and To Love Ru.
