## Synopsis

Hunter x Hunter (2011-present) is a Japanese shonen anime series created by Yoshihiro Togashi and produced by Madhouse for Nippon Television. Gon, a determined boy from a remote island, sets out to become a Hunter, a licensed adventurer, so he can find his father who left him behind. Along the way he forms a deep bond with the sharp-minded Killua, while the reserved Kurapika (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro) and the unpredictable Hisoka (voiced by Daisuke Namikawa) add layers of rivalry and suspicion. The engine of each arc is a dangerous test, a tournament, or a mission in which characters must outthink opponents whose abilities follow strict rules. Episodes are built around elaborate battles of wits and power, with stretches of travel, training, and character reflection between them. The series runs across three seasons of 148 episodes and remains a serialized story with long arcs. Its tone mixes warmth and playful humor with sudden brutality and moral unease. Fans of Naruto, One Piece and Death Note will find resonance in its blend of friendship, tactical combat and a quest for identity.
