## Synopsis

Love Me Or Leave Me (2012-2013) is a Taiwanese romance drama created by Fang Xiao Ren and Rung Jiun Yi for TTV Main Channel. Zhao Shan-shan (Esther Huang) is a marriage-phobic woman who hires a seductress to test how faithful her eager-to-wed boyfriend Liao Yi-ren (Lee Kang-i) really is. The engine of the story is her scheme and the complications it creates, as the test draws in the people around the couple and each attempt to measure loyalty exposes new doubts about the relationship. Across seventeen episodes of roughly two hours each, the series moves through contemporary Taiwanese urban life, with workplace and friendship subplots that widen the frame beyond the central romance. Principal supporting roles go to Hsu Wei-ning as Ji Qing, Alan Kuo as Ding Sheng-hua, and Chris Wang as Fang Hao-ming. The tone blends wistful romance with sharp, sometimes uncomfortable moments of deception, while its themes of commitment, fear and self-deception keep the emotional stakes grounded. Fans of Autumn's Concerto and Ugly Betty will find resonance in its mix of romantic tension and everyday emotional comedy.
