## Synopsis

Amores verdaderos (2012-2013) is a Mexican telenovela created by Marcela Citterio, Kary Fajer and Enrique Estevanez for Univision and Las Estrellas, produced by Televisa. Victoria Balvanera (Erika Buenfil) owns a vast estate and a prestigious advertising agency, and she is married to the landowner Nelson Brizz (Guillermo Capetillo). After an attempted kidnapping she is rescued by José Ángel Arriaga (Eduardo Yáñez), the estate's new foreman, and their growing bond becomes the emotional engine of the story. The series unfolds as a single continuing arc across one season of 183 episodes, with each chapter built from romantic confrontations, jealousy, family loyalties and the pressures of wealth and class. Its daughter and son-in-law storylines, played by Eiza González and Sebastián Rulli, add rival romances and generational tension. The tone is sincere, sentimental and heightened, with glossy contemporary Mexican production values and the lush theatrical melodrama that defines the form. Viewers who enjoy Rosalinda, Marimar and La usurpadora will find the same mix of forbidden attraction, class tension and sweeping emotional reversals that makes the telenovela tradition so absorbing.
