## Synopsis

Las Fierbinti (2012-present) is a Romanian drama-comedy series created by Dragoş Buliga, Constantin Popescu and Gabriel Achim for Pro TV. Set in a fictional small village, it follows a rotating circle of neighbors, with Bobiță (Mihai Bobonete), Dorel (Mihai Rait), Giani (Constantin Diţă), Celentano (Adrian Văncică) and Geanina (Anca Dumitra) at the center of the everyday hustle. The engine of the show is simple: ordinary villagers want a little money, respect or peace, and local politics, rumors and petty rivalries keep getting in the way. Each episode is built from small domestic mishaps, gossip that snowballs, and feuds that escalate into comic chaos. The show runs as a long serialized soap of ongoing village life, with an enormous episode count spanning many seasons. Its tone is breezy, sardonic and warmly absurd, with an affectionate eye for provincial characters. Fans of Northern Exposure, Peaky Blinders and Vacanța Mare will find resonance in its ensemble humor and small community texture. The production carries the look and rhythm of a Romanian national-television tradition, comfortable and familiar rather than polished.
