## Synopsis

Slugterra (2012-2016) is a Canadian animated action adventure series created by Asaph Fipke for Disney XD. Fifteen-year-old Eli Shane (voiced by Sam Vincent) embraces his late father's legacy and descends into a secret subterranean world where he is determined to become the greatest slugslinger of them all. Alongside him, the spirited Trixie (Shannon Chan-Kent) and the gruff Kord (Andrew Francis) and the comic sidekick Pronto (Lee Tockar) join the quest, while villains and rival slugslingers test their skill with ammunition-like slugs. Each episode is a brisk, self-contained adventure with a family-friendly blend of combat, gadgets and goofy humor, and the season-long arcs build a larger mythology beneath the surface of the tunnels. The tone is breezy, upbeat and optimistic, with bright 3D animation and a mystical-land sense of wonder. Shaped as a four-season run of 59 episodes, the show lands in the spirit of Avatar: The Last Airbender and Ben 10 for young viewers who enjoy creature collecting, team-based heroics and imaginative worlds beneath the familiar one.
