## Synopsis

To the Beautiful You (2012) is a South Korean romantic comedy drama series created for SBS and produced by SM Culture & Contents, a single-season run of sixteen episodes. Sulli plays Goo Jae-hee, a girl raised in the United States who becomes fixated on a high jump athlete after seeing him on television, then transfers to Korea and disguises herself as a boy to enter his all-boys high school. Minho plays Kang Tae-joon, the young athlete whose injury threatens his career and whose world she has entered under false pretenses. Supporting principals Lee Hyun-woo, Kang Ha-neul, and Kim Ji-won fill out the school's crowded social circle of friendships, rivalries, and quiet feelings. The engine is a constant balancing act: Jae-hee must keep her secret while navigating classes, sports rivalries, and an escalating set of romantic entanglements, while Tae-joon fights to rebuild his athletic future. Each episode is built from light school-life mishaps and emotional beats, and the tone stays breezy and sweet, with a warm nostalgic glow of youth and first crushes. Fans of Boys Over Flowers, Coffee Prince, and Hana Yori Dango will find resonance in its gender disguise premise and polished Korean youth romance.
