## Synopsis

That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013) is a South Korean melodrama series created by Noh Hee-kyung for SBS. Zo In-sung plays Oh Soo, a listless gambler who has withdrawn from life after the death of his first love, while Song Hye-kyo plays Oh Young, a wealthy heiress whose family collapses when her parents divorce and whose vision is steadily failing. Their paths cross by fate and slowly pull them out of their isolation. Supporting principals include Kim Bum as Park Jinseong, Jung Eun-ji as Moon Heeseon, and Bae Jong-ok as Secretary Wang Hyeji, whose lives tangle with the lovers' own. The series unfolds as a single sixteen-episode story of longing, loneliness and the weight of past losses, built from quiet encounters, family strain and the gradual deepening of an unlikely bond. Its tone is melancholic and tender, with a lingering sadness that carries the romance forward. Set in contemporary Seoul, it has the emotional pull of a classic korean melodrama and will appeal to fans of Autumn in My Heart and Crash Landing on You who want a bittersweet, heartfelt love story.
