## Synopsis

Queen of Hearts (2014-2015) is a US Spanish-language telenovela created by Marcela Citterio for Telemundo. Paola Nuñez plays Reina Ortiz, a woman who wakes after an accident with no memory of the last eight years, including her marriage to tycoon Victor De Rosas (Juan Soler), the powerful owner of a famous Las Vegas bridal atelier. Reina must piece together who she has become and whether she belongs in this world of luxury and power. Meanwhile Eugenio Siller plays Nicolas Nuñez, the man she once loved, who returns under the new identity of Javier Bolivar. Working for the secret service and seeking revenge against Estefania Perez (Catherine Siachoque), he believes Reina and Victor were responsible for his imprisonment. The engine of the story is the tug between Reina's search for her own truth and Nicolas's double life of deception, gold and gem trafficking, and reckless gambling. Structured as a single season of 140 episodes, the series unfolds as classic serialized soap storytelling, with cliffhangers, reversals and shifting alliances. The tone is melodramatic and emotionally heightened, with romance at its core and betrayal, jealousy and redemption threading through every episode. Fans of Yo soy Betty, la fea, La usurpadora and Amor de mi vida will find resonance in its blend of amnesia, forbidden love and glamorous intrigue.
